02How does Vocalys adapt to the United Kingdom?+
The “United Kingdom” country profile sets the currency, formats, document labels and tax settings (VAT). Always check the requirements specific to your business with your adviser.
03Do I need an account?+
No. The public app requires no sign-up or password. Your workspace is tied to this installation of Vocalys.
04What works offline?+
View documents already saved on this phone, prepare or edit quotes manually, create invoices and open locally available files. Dictation, scanning, sync and remote signing need Internet.
05What if dictation gets something wrong?+
Correct text, quantities, amounts or taxes before confirming. Review any flagged ambiguity. If analysis fails, use the manual quote editor.
06How do I create an invoice and an accountant file?+
Open the quote in Documents and create an invoice. The PDF is for your client; the accountant file button provides an additional file for new invoices. Sending to your accountant includes both.
07How do I know it was sent or signed?+
Opening a messaging app does not confirm sending: check in that app. Refresh the quote online to check remote signing; allow notifications to receive confirmations on your phone.
08Can I close or update the app?+
Yes. Version 0.2.3 tests retained archives after closing, restarting and updating without uninstalling. Unsynced documents must remain on the phone.
09What if I reinstall or change phones?+
Automatic recovery is unavailable in version 0.2.3. Save PDFs and accountant files outside the app before uninstalling or changing phones. Exporting your data cannot restore your full workspace. Keep your old phone and contact us if needed.
